Nautilus Insurance is seeking a Premium Receivable Analyst to join their team! This role will be located in our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters.
The Premium Receivable Analyst I's main function is to reconcile agent accounts and discrepancies and assists the team in resolving matters pertinent to the processing and recovery of agent balances.
- Responsible for maintaining the company receivables by following the Statutory guidelines of clearing aged transactions timely. Proactively research and address all outstanding receivables before they reach 90 days.
- Responsible for the allocation and posting of cash and reconciles misc. payments and account current payments received by the general agents.
- Provides back up coverage to the daily deposits in the billing system
- Reviews policy files and our General Agents' monthly reporting to ensure compliance by both parties.
- Analyze, verify, and process agent reconciliations to address differences with our agents regarding out of balance transactions with Nautilus.
- Manage assigned territory as a Premium Receivable Analyst.

Qualifications- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- College degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred
- Completion of general insurance courses or general accounting courses preferred
- A minimum of one year experience related to insurance, to include basic knowledge of insurance policy and premium transactions is required.
- A minimum of one year experience in premium receivables
- Excess and Surplus lines background beneficial.
- Must have a strong customer service background working in a professional environment.
- Basic to intermediate bookkeeping and/or reconciliation knowledge is needed.
- Must have knowledge and basic proficiency of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail.
