Job Description: The Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This role requires a thorough understanding of commercial insurance products, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and claims handling.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing their insurance needs and concerns.
- Work closely with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage options.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and recommendations to clients.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of insurance programs and strategies.
- Provide support to the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in the agency management system.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management.
- A valid insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using agency management systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
