Experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our Daytona Beach team.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and grow a book of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance, ensuring all required tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Working effectively with producers as well as growing your own book of business.
  • Grow client loyalty by building positive relationships and being recognized by clients as a trusted advisor.
  • Receives completed new business applications from agents and forwards to insurance carriers or rate via carrier’s online portal to bind coverage.
  • Prepares proposals and completes applications in coordination with agent(s); submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers.
  • Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as needed for account review.
  • Markets renewals, contacts clients, creates renewal proposals and handles other renewal activities in coordination with the producer(s).
  • Maintains and updates electronic files.
  • Informs clients about policy coverages, changes, exclusions and insurance coverage needs.
  • Processes clients' requests (binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items).
  • Review new policies, renewal policies and endorsements received from carriers, verifying their accuracy, facilitating corrections when necessary.
  • Assists clients in submitting first reports of claims.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • An active 2-20/ P&C license
  • 3-5+ years of commercial lines insurance agency experience as a CSR or Account Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field a plus
  • High level of commercial lines P&C insurance and industry experience
  • Experience in policy marketing, policy renewal processing, policy quoting and other related skills and knowledge of rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned client and prospect lists
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.
  • Multi-tasking and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy.
  • PC proficiency, including MS Office, and Applied EPIC preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to always assist others.
