MPL Risk, LLC is a Property & Casualty Insurance brokerage firm located outside of Philadelphia, PA in Bucks County providing insurance solutions to small and medium sized corporations. Our specific focus is the healthcare industry and we have clients in a half dozen states. We are looking to add an energetic Account Manager to our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle a book of business of commercial accounts, with a book of business ranging from $400,000 to $600,000 in revenue.
- Primary contact for existing clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, as well as vendors.
- Utilizing an Agency Management System, in order to process coverage changes, billing inquiries, issuing COIs, storing files within the system, etc.
- Individual will also take lead on handling policy renewals – gathering renewals documents, marketing to carriers, communicating quotes to the insured.
- Understanding of various insurance lines and coverages available to clients, and assist in helping upsell additional lines of insurance.
- Ability to cross-sell certain lines of coverages whenever there is an opportunity
- Problem solve and help resolve audit disputes, coverage questions, claim questions, and more.
- Utilizing available systems to assist in client retention and account management
Job Requirements

- Customer service and some sales skills for cross-selling opportunities
- Ability to maintain Property & Casualty Insurance license(s) in the necessary states where conducting business
- Solid Understanding of Microsoft Office Excel, Word. Strong understanding of Agency Management Systems
Required Experience and Education
- Customer Service: minimum of 2 years experience
- Associate Degree (preferred)
Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
