The Actuarial Data Analyst coordinates the actuarial and statistical aspects of Association ratemaking.
- Coordinates and executes the complete Ratemaking process from the collection of data to its summarization, analysis and dissemination. Provides actuarial, statistical, and economic technical expertise required for effective Association operation. Provides expertise as lead resource and external contact for data collection activities necessary for ratemaking.
Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of financial data collection and processing including, but not limited to (a) validation, summarization and analysis, (b) carrier contact and correspondence, (c) data anomaly resolution, (d) management of the financial call incentive program.
Plan, prepare, and produce the annual Minnesota Ratemaking Report – including document & exhibit production, carrier communication, distribution, computer system updates.
Responsible as key contact for external stakeholders including (a) carrier actuarial and statistical staff, (b) consulting actuaries, (c) state government representatives, (d) other actuarial/data requests.
Support the Actuarial Services team in executing responses for all requests for actuarial data/information, actuarial research projects, and actuarial presentations, custom reports, exhibits and other documentation.
Plan, coordinate, and execute validation, processing, summarization, and analysis of Unit Statistical Plan data for ratemaking purposes.
Provide expertise & leadership in (a) Unit Statistical Plan data collection, processing and validation, (b) Experience Rating Plan production, (c) Minnesota Contractors Premium Adjustment Program production.
Responsible for complete production and maintenance of (a) Statistical Plan Manual, (b) Experience Rating Plan Manual, (c) external communications.
