Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster (3rd party PD / BI Liability) - Remote Perm

ADJUSTERS: SR. Commercial 3rd party PD / BI AUTO LIABILITY- PERM---REMOTE

HOLDING FLORIDA RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED.
 

High level Sr Liability Commercial Auto adjusters with litigation experience related to large auto, trucking, experience and licensed in FL, TX, NY, or CA.                                                                FOCUS WILL BE PROPERTY DAMAGE CLAIMS.
You MUST be a Resident of FLORIDA; Can reside in any state IF you have the experience and the license for that state, AND have FL, TX, NY, or CA adjuster license. 
 

Primary/Essential Duties and Functions:                                          

Investigation, evaluation, settlement, and disposition of complex and highest exposure claims mainly focused on heavy commercial auto and/or trucking claims, including high exposure trucking PD and BI claims with a litigation component with focus on Property Damage claims.
• Develop settlement/litigation/defense strategies by evaluating information to settle claims in a cost-effective manner, work with defense attorneys and clients per account handling guidelines.
• Effectively handle subrogation on liability claims. Identify and notify responsible third parties of their potential exposures and follow for reimbursement of amounts owed to clients.
• Produce and review prepared and on-demand claims and status reports with clients.
• Maintain current knowledge of laws and statutes pertinent to liability claims handling, maintain CEUs and licensing in current and/or active status, as appropriate.
 

Competencies - Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:                                                             

 • 5+ years handling all aspects of liability claims and subrogation with a consistent high level of performance and achievement, with 3 years current/recent experience.
• 3rd Party Commercial lines Auto Liability with strong PD experience, commercial property, general liability, auto liability, bodily injury.  Complex liability claims experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable statutes accepted industry standards and practices.
• Ability to negotiate the settlement and disposition of claims successfully and skillfully, including the ability to interpret related documentation.
Willing to travel for mediations, to accounts for status reporting, to accident scenes or loss locations for investigation purposes, as necessary. Travel as required.
 

Public entity/ Municipality claims experience A++
 

Pay based on experience up to $75K + benefits.
