Employee Benefits Account Manager

About the Role

The Employee Benefits Account Manager opening is an immediate job opening with an independent, full-service Chicago insurance agency. Their team as at capacity which is driving the creation of a new service role. You’ll partner with the Senior Account Manager to take over existing accounts as well as the managing partners who are bringing in new small and mid-sized group health and welfare business. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Here’s a little bit about what you can expect at your desk each day:

• Marketing cases (fully insured and self-funded)
• Daily customer service requests
• Employee meetings
• Renewal prep and marketing

Job Specs

The accounts you’ll manage typically fall in a range of 50-250 lives.

Skills & Experience

• At least one (1) year of group employee benefits client service experience
• Ability to participate in and/or run enrollment meetings and work with clients on any other policy review and stewardship issues

Compensation & Benefits

• $65k-$80k target salary range
• Open to a hybrid work schedule but with the majority of the time (approximately 4 days/week) in the office
