About the Role

The Employee Benefits Account Executive is the truest definition of a strategist and directly positioned as the team quarterback between the sales executives and the service team. Working for a large, multi-site insurance broker with substantial operations in the Carolinas, every day will look different knowing the teams you’ll collaborate with in various locations along with balancing high level client engagement.

Characteristics of the Role:

  • You are the guardian of the strategic customer relationship; orchestrate the deployment of corporate-wide resources to provide comprehensive solutions
  • You are responsible for the retention, development, servicing, and expansion of key accounts
  • You assist in the new business sales process (RFP’s, proposals, and presentations)
  • You manage implementation, communication, engagement, and educational materials

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified individuals have at least seven (7) years of life and health insurance industry experience in sales, service, marketing, or consulting
  • Experience with various funding arrangements is a must

Job Specs

Location: Most of your clients (and all of your direct reports) are located in North Carolina especially with a concentration in the Triad and Triangle. Provided you are comfortable with travel to see clients & for team meetings, as needed, you can work remotely anywhere within North Carolina.

Schedule: With the multiple locations in play comes scheduling flexibility because you’ll spend time working with your team + time working from home + travel for on-site client meetings.

Compensation

Six figure salary target + annual bonus opportunity.
