One of Texas’s largest insurance agencies is growing rapidly in its employee benefits division. They have two new job openings for Employee Benefits Account Managers, each with some unique characteristics that provide an opportunity for experienced insurance professionals to take on new challenges and continue growing their client service career. 

Job Specs

Small Group Benefits Account Manager – Austin, TX
This is a large, legacy book of business concentrated on small group accounts under 50 lives. It’s service intensive working alongside a senior producer and another account manager. This is a great plug and play role for someone who enjoys working with small business accounts.

Employee Benefits Account Manager – San Antonio, TX
You’ll work with a couple of producers in a lead client service role for mid-sized groups (currently 50-250 ees). This book is expected to grow exponentially and push up-market in client size. They take a ‘full service’ mindset to client service, so in your role you are involved in all day-to-day program administration plus strategies around sales support, renewals, and client retention.

Skills & Experience

At least 2-3 years of group health and welfare experience. Prior agency experience isn’t required. The company is open to applicants with group employee benefits client service experience from insurance companies and third-party providers.
