This unique opportunity allows you to work a hybrid schedule (working up to three days a week from home).
The Illinois Health and Hospital Association seeks a Territory Representative responsible for the administration of lost time/indemnity workers' compensation claims including but not limited to conducting a thorough investigation, managing medical care, and working towards final claims closure.
Medical only workers’ compensation experience and/or experience with lost time/indemnity claims preferred. Bachelor’s degree and/or a certificate in a related insurance program preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education. Ability to independently multi-task in a fast paced environment in the management of claims. Demonstrate independence and critical thinking that leads to appropriate judgment in the management of workers’ compensation claims, along with a strong understanding of medical information and State Workers’ Compensation Acts. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to work well with others and be a positive team player. Adaptability to meet ever-changing needs of clients as well as an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office. Routine travel is required. Weekly presence in an IHA office is required.
