Commercial Auto Claims Supervisor (Multi line BI -Baltimore MD- Remote Perm)

Job Description:

Our client is a TPA in Baltimore who is continuously growing, and they are actively searching for a Liability Claims Supervisor in the Baltimore, MD area. Remote or onsite candidates will be considered.  Qualified candidates must possess excellent communication and writing skills, and 3-4+ years of P&C Commercial Liability Claims supervisory experience.

 Duties will include:

• Supervise adjusters and team assistants- will not have a caseload of your own. Claims being supervised will include commercial liability claims, with emphasis on mass transit, automobile, and general liability claims. Adjuster caseloads will include managing, investigating, and resolving claims involving potentially complex property damage and bodily injury claims.
• Perform diary reviews on adjusters’ claims
• Assure all excess reportable files are reported appropriately 
• Provide direction/guidance on claims
• Assist adjusters with preparation for file reviews and ensure performance standards are exceeded

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, or four or more years of equivalent work experience- Legal claims adjusting experience required
• Municipality commercial liability claims experience A+++
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proven critical thinking skills that demonstrate analysis/judgment and sound decision making with focus on attention to details
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and customer service skills
• Computer literacy, including MS Office, Word, Excel
• High level of Integrity, Energy, Dependable, Positive attitude, Strong work ethic, and motivated to learn and teach
