Remote Vendor Manager-
- This is a well financed new start-up personal lines Auto and Homeowners organization that is going live April 1st writing in 40 states.
- This ground floor opportunity will provide an excellent base salary, bonus potential and a potential equity position to be determined.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures company vendors are managed in an effective and consistent manner.
- The VM is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the vendor management program and ensuring vendors are monitored in a consistent and timely manner
- Manage key vendor resources
- Foster mutually beneficial vendor relationships
- Secure best in class services at market pricing
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective action plans for variances in vendor performance
- Ensure proper due diligence is rendered on new vendors
- Limit exposure to risk by securing proper documentation and legal reviews
- Provide monthly reporting on vendor spend and critical vendors status
- Identify new ways to save money and drive best in class services
- Track key vendors and negotiate contracts as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business,
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with BPO service provider, P&C insurer, MGA, actuarial consulting firm, or similar organization in a pricing related role.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategic sourcing and contracts management
- Experience in a strategic sourcing, procurement, contract development and management, and supplier relationship management
- Experience in Vendor Management and customer negotiations
