Commercial Lines Insurance Associate

Responsible for servicing and underwriting Commercial Insurance products in our underwriting Welding and Gas large broker network.  Extensive communication with our brokers on a daily basis requires the person to work in a fast paced, multi tasked environment.  This role serves as a program expert by providing guidance and gold standard service to our broker partners for all their Commercial Lines needs.  The underwriter’s strengths will lie within knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverages, carrier guidelines, rating systems and agency managements systems.  In addition to providing great customer service and taking pride in being a contributing member of a great team.

Responsibilities:   

• Responsiveness to our brokers needs
• Quick and accurate quoting
• Ability to assess rates in order to properly place risks with best carrier fit
• Providing polite, upbeat and professional customer service to our broker partners
• Maintaining office professionalism and expertise in all aspects of servicing our brokers and our internal customers/teammates
• Manages all documents to ensure file quality and completeness

• Experience in Commercial Lines Insurance either at the agency or carrier level
• Eagerness to provide quality customer service

• Good presenter of data to our brokers and management
• Property and Casualty licensed preferred
