Property Claims Adjuster
Are you interested in a career in insurance? Come join our team as a Property Claims Adjuster, an excellent way to learn the insurance industry. This position will be a combination of field adjusting and desk adjusting in the South Central location of Pennsylvania. You must live in the State College to Harrisburg area for this position as it involves driving to claim sites in that area. This position will work from home and you must use your own vehicle. Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary to excel in this position. College degree preferred, and adjusting, paralegal, contract and/or construction experience would be helpful. Insurance producer license or willingness to obtain one is a plus. Valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities include inspecting property claims, interviewing insured(s), photographing damage, determining insurance coverage, reviewing estimates by contactors, writing reports and maintaining files and negotiating settlements.
