About the Role

You will provide technical support and assistance in the design, implementation and maintenance of commercial insurance products that are competitive, compliant and consistent with corporate objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform research and market analysis of industry trends and competitive information
- Develop, implement and maintain coverage forms, endorsements, declarations, underwriting manuals, rules, and guidelines
- Analyze ISO, NCCI and other bureau circulars; communicate effect on existing products/procedures and recommend action as needed
- Work with IT Department to ensure new and revised product specifications (rates, rules, forms and other output) are implemented
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Thorough understanding of property/casualty insurance pricing principles and underwriting practices, standards, and concepts
- Demonstrated comprehension of commercial lines products and coverages
- 3+ years’ commercial lines underwriting experience
- Experience reviewing and interpreting ISO/NCCI rate, rule, and form circulars
- Experience drafting and submitting rate, rule and form filings via SERFF
Compensation
$61k to $77k. Bonus incentive is 7% of salary.
