American Carolina Insurance is currently seeking an energetic, career minded professional Employee Benefits salesperson for the South Carolina upstate.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with local businesses
  • Explain opportunities for businesses to improve their Employee Benefit program without increasing cost
  • Gather the necessary information to prepare proposals
  • Present proposals to businesses, answer questions and assist with enrollment
  • Offer suggestions for additional elective benefits
  • Work with American Carolina account managers on service related issues

Experience/Requirements

  • South Carolina Life & Health License
  • Dependable transportation
  • Minimum 2 years working in Employee Benefit Sales
  • Excellent personal character
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to listen and problem solve
  • Able to work as a team
  • Ability to demonstrate time management skills and meet deadlines
