Commercial Package Underwriter

General Placement Service is actively recruiting for a Specialty Underwriter in Commercial Lines who can handle a high volume of retail agency submissions for small to mid-sized accounts. Our client is an industry leader in national specialty products. This position will join a team of 4 currently in the Greater Denver area in an underwriting position that is a mix of market facing and desk underwriting. This underwriting position, post Covid, will travel about 20% of the time to build and strengthen our clients existing agency relationships. This will include some limited over-night trips. 
 
To be qualified for this position candidates must have a minimum of 2 years production underwriting experience with knowledge of General Liability, Property, Excess and some Workers Compensation. 
A Bachelor’s Degree and industry designations are preferred for this role.
