Property Claims Manager- Commercial Lines

Base salary up to $100,000 plus a 10% bonus potential and excellent employee benefits.

SUMMARY:
Property Claims Manager with a minimum of 10 years of commercial lines property claims experience, at least 3 of that being in a supervisory role. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical claim handling and management skills, will have experience managing large losses and can provide leadership to a claims team. The candidate should be familiar with estimating systems, though the position does not require entering estimates. A strong background in commercial property coverage and policy interpretation.

• Manage staff of inside adjusters handling commercial property claims in multiple venues
• Manage a team of 5-8 commercial Property desk adjusters
• Oversee Vendors and IA’s
• Train, manage, evaluate and develop assigned staff
• Monitor workloads and work quality
• Must be good at commercial coverage and legal letter writing.
• Effectively communicate with staff, management and both internal and external customers
