Position Summary:
A national TPA specializing in the transportation and rental car industries is seeking a claims manager.  They looking for a senior level claims professional to manage to the daily workflow and provide leadership to our staff.  This position will work closely with leadership in strategic execution as well as support and meet day-to-day production requirements. The successful candidate will also work closely with the staff, vendors, leadership, and our clients to assure the organization is meeting all contractual and regulatory requirements.  
 
Essential Job Functions:
•             Provide daily support to claim staff.
•             Ensure that claims team follows state regulations, client’s guidelines and our Best Practices.
•             Monitor individual performance and ensure they meet expected quality and performance objectives.
•             Supports and facilitates external audits and projects as directed.
•             Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results based on performance metrics as needed.
 
 
Minimum Requirements 
 Education, training, and experience: 

  • College graduate and/or equivalent combination of High School Diploma/GED, training and work experience.
  • 5-10 years claim handling experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain state adjuster licensing in applicable states within 120 days of employment and maintain licensing requirements as a requirement of continued employment.
  • Outstanding management and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong Claims Technical Background.
  • Knowledge of trucking and business auto claims required.
  • Knowledge of rental car industry claims preferred.
