About the Role
As the Regional Commercial Insurance Service Leader, you keep the crazy world of account management organized and running like a well-oiled machine. With responsibility for managing account managers and support staff in Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas, you’ll have many ways to impact the team and help this nationally recognized brokerage be successful in this new position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Service Management. Develop the account management team through training initiatives and one-on-one mentoring to account managers, assistants/CSRs and marketing specialists.
- Organizational Development. Operations. Process Improvement. Technology Solutions. All areas that beg the question, “How are you helping to advance the agency?”
- Productivity. “What’s working and not working with the service team? Is the client’s experience positive?” Key terms here- completion, accuracy, timeliness, retention, marketing and new business onboarding.
- Personnel Development. Education and goal setting with the team. Being a resident expert/technical resource for commercial coverage. Stepping in BIG TIME on escalated service issues.
Skills & Experience
- At least ten (10) years of commercial insurance brokerage experience in client service and account management
- Prior supervisory/management experience is required
Job Specs
This is a multi-faceted role. Expect to be involved in a myriad of issues such as:
- Oversee the training, development and performance of the commercial insurance account management division
- Support carrier and vendor relationships
- Be involved in recruiting, department hiring, training, onboarding and performance management
- Handle escalated customer service issues
- Conduct audits, oversee quality control, manage workflows and facilitate process improvement
Location: This position is based in the Tulsa, OK, the central region's head office. Expect travel to offices within a three-state region (OK, TX and AR).
Compensation & Benefits
$125k to $150k is a working range depending on experience
