Claims - Injury Large Loss Resolution Specialist

This is an “in-house” position only; you must be able to work from our office. No remote applicants, please.

As a Bodily Injury Large Loss Resolution Specialist you investigate and resolve all aspects of private passenger auto claims; typically involving injury with or without attorney involvement.  You will determine and evaluate coverage, liability, and damages to final conclusion and may participate in claims involving litigation.  Essential functions include using proper judgment to analyze claim exposures, determine proper courses of action, determine proper reserves and appropriately settle all claim exposures relevant to an individual claim to include total loss and salvage/subro processes. 

Claims will be handled consistent with corporate policies, procedures and best practices and also in accordance with any statutory, regulatory and ethical requirements.  You will have other duties as requested by the Resolution Director or Vice President.   

This position requires excellent written and verbal communication for an extremely organized and detail oriented individual who is also adaptable to a changing work environment.  You must also exhibit a good level of interpersonal skills and have a good working relationship with peers, subordinates, supervisors, customers and the general public.

Required:

• Must have at least 10+ years’ experience handling BI claims and be licensed in TX. 
• PC literate skills essential.
• Other licenses and credentials are a plus.
