SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Contact company policyholders by phone
- Deliver prepared sales scripts to persuade potential policyholders to complete home repairs
- Describe Home Solutions program, benefits, and incentives
- Respond timely to inquires via phone and email
- Identify and overcome policyholder objections
- Assist the policyholder through the repair process
- Follow up on initial contacts and secure repair photos and invoices
- Properly document all policyholder interactions in data management system
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong organizational and task management skills. Strong relationship management and proven experience delivering high level of internal and external customer service. Computer proficiency with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 4-40 License with 1+ years of insurance experience preferred
- Must obtain 4-40 insurance license in a timely manner
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in relevant computer applications and call center systems
- Good typing skills
- Knowledge of sales principles and methods
- Sales experience a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must possess the ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos as well as write simple correspondence. Must also be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Must be proficient with the following: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must also be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
