General Placement Service has partnered with an A.M. Best “A” rated specialty insurance company focused on construction and manufacturing accounts. They are seeking a Field Underwriting Manager to work out of their Dallas office and travel within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities include:
- Building agency relationships and seeking potential new clients
- Leading and mentoring the underwriting department
- Monitoring production and ensuring overall growth
- Providing support and direction to assigned underwriters
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Middle Market Underwriting experience
- 2+ years in a management role
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Designations such as CIC, CPCU or AU preferred
