About the Role

The Life Insurance Advanced Case Designer will be involved in the technical aspects of the company’s life insurance business, including but not limited to: case design, case optimization, option/portfolio analysis, competitive analysis, financial IRR, and product reverse engineering/comparison.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • New Business & Advanced Case Design – Life, Life Settlement, and Annuity
  • Research carrier products and complete comparative analysis
  • Generate product illustrations
  • Manage life insurance underwriting process and manage and process claims
  • Drive process improvements, efficiency initiatives
  • Creation of company business processes, work-flows, and documentation procedures

Required Skills & Experience

  • Broad knowledge of life insurance product landscape, products, carrier illustration software, marketing resources, sales ideas, as well as advanced markets planning techniques and strategies, etc.
  • Ability to model complex financial solutions in Excel to illustrate features, benefits, IRR’s, etc.
  • Detailed understanding of underwriting process and case design to achieve client objectives
  • Understand the fundamentals of estate planning, illustrate how to utilize tax attributes to enhance after-tax returns through variable universal life or private placement life insurance policies
  • Ability to creatively design policies to provide the best IRR to client’s financial objectives
  • 5 years minimum experience in life insurance case management 
  • Must be proficient in Vlookups, If/Then formulas, Goal Seek, NPV, and IRR

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks
