About the Role

An immediate Insurance Client Manager- Large Construction Accounts opening with a sophisticated insurance brokerage in Denver has a plan laid out for career advancement in their specialized construction division. For an accomplished account manager, they say it’s an ideal way to take on new challenges in support of their managing producer’s legacy accounts. Here are a few important job specs:

  • This is a hybrid mix of two positions- Account Manager and Account Executive. You take the lead on all servicing strategies on a daily basis while also coordinating new account onboarding and renewal prep. However, in their model the producer is still involved in elements like renewal presentations and tough remarketing negotiations. This gives you the freedom run point on 80% of the book without pressure for new sales or designing risk management programs.
  • $90k-$125k salary depending on experience) plus competitive PTO and 1 day each week designed as a work-from-home day
  • You’ll work on very large construction accounts. This requires in-depth knowledge of builder’s risk and other indemnity/liability insurance programs is crucial.

A Little Bit About the Daily Duties You Can Expect:

  • Support new and existing accounts (marketing, certificates, binders, billing, etc.)
  • Process policy changes: endorsements, audits and re-marketing
  • Delegate to Tech Assistants (ordering MVRs, completing applications, requesting loss runs)
  • Monitor account quote; bind coverage
  • Answer daily service calls from insureds and insurance companies
Skills & Experience
  • At least five (5) years of commercial insurance agency experience with an insurance agency as Lead Commercial Insurance Account Manager or account executive
  • Prior experience with renewal marketing and negotiations as well as client engagement (review meetings and renewal presentations)
  • Prior experience working with large construction risks is required; minimum of $250k+ insurance premium accounts
Compensation & Perks
  • $90k to $125k in salary (depending on experience) + full benefits and PTO
