About the Role
The Commercial Insurance Client Executive role’s primary function is client engagement. The definition of that is a high touch role in a dual sales and service capacity for a large regional insurance broker in Chattanooga. The title is different because it blends elements of account management and business development, both of which will be needed to take care of a large book of existing clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Account Management and Retention: Work with commercial property and casualty business accounts (a mixture of small and mid-sized accounts in the $1k-$15k revenue range) on daily service needs
  • Marketing: Coordinate reviews, navigate the renewal process, work closely with underwriters on new lines and programs, and prepare/present proposals
  • Client Engagement: Manage an existing block of business and help transition newly acquired accounts. Create new ways to round out accounts, up-selling and cross-sell.

Skills & Experience

  • At least two (2) years of commercial insurance experience as an Account Manager or Producer
  • Accustomed to being the first and primary point of contact for clients on service and renewal policy management
  • State P&C insurance license

Job Specs
This position is newly created by a senior managing producer whose book has an array of small, middle market, and large risk management accounts. Your role is his #2 and helps to carve out SBU clients to make sure they are being serviced properly and receiving personalized attention.

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks
Salary range of $60k-$75k depending on experience
