Commercial Auto Underwriting Manager - Texas
Growing Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a Commercial Lines Auto Underwriting Manager for their San Antonio operation.  Candidates will be responsible for the commercial auto underwriting department including management of staff, strategic analysis, and underwriting best practices. 

Responsibilities:

• Evaluation and implementation underwriting best practices in commercial lines focusing in commercial auto
• Evaluation of metrics and analytics regarding each line of business
• Assist with the development of new programs
• Mentor and lead underwriting staff to achieve departmental goals
• Manage workflows for efficiencies

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial underwriting and management in a carrier setting
• Proven relationship management, leadership and coaching skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• 4 year college degree is highly preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
