Job Description:
Confirms coverage, takes recorded statements from all parties, determines liability, establishes damages-including total loss, issues settlement checks and recognizes subrogation potential.
Duties:
- Identify coverage issues through policy interpretation or confirm applicable coverage.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and provide exceptional customer service.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain compliance with the Department of Insurance in the applicable state.
- Maintain current and effective diary program.
- Evaluate each claimant for compensability.
