About Us:

National Claims Management is a small, growing third-party administrator in Lake Oswego (since 1998) specializing in Truckers Liability, Commercial Auto Liability, and Agriculture claims. Ours is a relaxed tight knit atmosphere with reasonable workloads where adjusters can work autonomously.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced liability adjuster to handle claims with exposures of up to $1 million.

This is a full time in-house office position - though there is potential to work from home 2 days per week.

There is occasional travel to attend mediations or settlement conferences as we handle claims nationwide.

Requirements:

• 4 year bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of experience handling bodily injury and liability claims
• Experience in handling coverage issues, litigation management, lien resolution (including Medicare), and the attendance at settlement conferences and mediations.
• Sound written skills as job will include preparation of ROR letters, coverage denials, and general correspondence.
• In-depth knowledge of claims procedures, insurance policies, litigation handling, negligence laws and medical terminology.
• The ability to navigate through new and unfamiliar claims situations, analyze coverage and liability, and determine an effective plan of resolution.
• Transportation or commercial liability claims experience is a plus but not required.
