Reception work (Spanish and English calls)
• Answer Calls
• Transfer Calls
• Handle or return Obama Voicemails/calls
• Troubleshoot printer if jammed and/or call Office Copying Systems if not fixed
• Take applications during OEP
• Hand applications to next available agent
• Create Salesforce accounts for a prospect (scan in application and save to their account) Assist Walk-ins
• Make copies if they are dropping off missing documents or scan them to me
• Advise them on Marketplace questions
• Help with basic billing question or claims, Sometimes if too complex I get with Carina/Ashley
• Sign off Packages
• Handle any ‘return to sender’ mail and any mail in general (Stamp date on mail) Assist members on how to pay on their own via Phone, Online or by mail.
• Help create Toolkit account if needed
• Schedule Medicare appointment for Ashley
• Get the members prescriptions beforehand
• Advise them what to bring for the appointment
• Pull report from BASES of delinquents
• Call/text clients who are past due on their payments Office administration
• Send Fed Ex to Greenroad every Monday o Make copies of any mail received during the week o Stamp all received mail
o Set aside copies for Brian

Agent Work (helping both English and Spanish speakers)
• Quote & Enroll & Explain the process of:
o BCBS Short term Policies and explain the benefits o Medishare plans and explain the benefits o Ameritas Dental and Vision plans and explain benefits
o Or email the links of above carries to prospects for them to quote and enroll themselves
• Contact the Marketplace (after the member is contacted to gives authorization to do the following) o Fill out and submit Marketplace appeals via fax o Call Marketplace Appeal Center to follow up until it resolves o If the Appeal Center needs documents, contact member to get them o If the appeal is flagged “informal resolution” or don’t agree with resolution request a hearing
o If the Appeal Center cannot determine a resolution, they will contact me or member for a hearing
o Create an HC.Gov account if an application doesn’t go through Health Sherpa o Create an Escalation with the Marketplace if there is an error with the application o Contact and Follow up with Marketplace regarding Escalation o Get Case ID number/HEX Number also follow up with BCBS until complete o Answer a questions BCBS may have regarding Escalation
• Provide member with tobacco appeal form and explain process o If a member submits a form, send to BCBS via email or fax o Follow up with it and make sure billing is adjusted
• Before helping with medical claims, have members sign HIPAA Forms o Sent to BCBS via fax or email o Review claim member sends to our office o Contact BCBS regarding a claim or to check benefits are active o If needed contact provider’s office to verify information o Call Pharmacy to see why medication isn’t going through
o Contact BCBS regarding Pharmacy claim or benefits; may get transferred to Caremark
o Help member file RX reimbursements if needed
• Pull 1095a forms via Health Sherpa o Print form for member to

• Upload Missing documents that member sends us o Review documents submitted o Save to sever
o Uploaded it to their Salesforce account and notated it
o Add member (if not already on list of Uploads) and fill out selections o Added member to list to make sure to recheck and it clears in system o Review income to make sure it matches to application if NOT then type a letter explaining WHY it does not match.
• Check missing documents list o If member lost Tax credit run through an application making no changes, if still not fixed rewrite it
• During OE
o Help enrolled new clients and or renewed existing client’s policies o Meet with some clients if agents are too busy
• Assist with any ACI projects
• Help with Group task o Print CD labels and put on CDs o Put CD in sleeve o Mail via Fed-ex or UPS
o Pick up booklets from a printing company
o Help agent with printing, organizing, and stapling enrollment forms o Stuff packets
• Minor help SEPs who call in even though we are not writing them into a plan I still assist in quoting them and tell them to contact BCBS.
