Position Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst assists the Director with financial reporting requests. He/she achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, as well as planning and executing project objectives

Essential Job Functions

  • Liaise with business analyst to define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Communicate project progress, problems and solutions
  • Maintain and stay current with knowledge of areas of expertise
  • Rely on experience and judgment
  • Ability to accomplish daily goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Have regular and reliable attendance
  • Adhere to policies and procedures of employee handbook
  • Determining system improvements and implementing changes

Required Knowledge, Skills & Ability

  • Business processing knowledge
  • Insurance industry knowledge and concepts are a plus
  • Versatility skilled in more than one area
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power point and Excel
  • 3-5 years SQL Server Reporting Services experience
  • C# Exposure and .Net (plus)
  • Domo experience
  • Positive work record and evaluations
  • Deductive and inductive reasoning
  • Exceptional written and oral expression
  • Organizational skills
  • Proactive and energetic mindset
