Underwriting Consultant – Commercial Lines

General Placement Service is exclusively partnering with an exciting Boston based company that is endeavoring to “Change the way insurance is done for small businesses.” Our client is specializing in providing quality products that are tailored to each business through the use of the highest level data and analytics available. They are pushing the envelope in ways that few others have done before.

The most attractive part of this role is the autonomy that is going to be given to the individual in leading the commercial lines segment. This role will essentially “Take the Helm!” of the company working with the president of the organization. Their parent company is of the highest quality being a Fortune 500 company and they are backed by significant equity in the marketplace. 
 
To be qualified candidates must have a minimum of 8 years Commercial Lines Underwriting experience with some exposure to small commercial products and product management. A degree and designations are preferred, but not required.
