Job Description

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Underwriting department as a Branch Underwriting Support Specialist. The position requires the following, but is not limited to:

• Effectively communicate with underwriters, processors, agents and insureds
• Performs complex processing responsibilities and underwriting assistance as assigned within the department
• Reviews and handles routine renewal and endorsement business
• Orders, reviews and prepares inspections for underwriting
• Adapt to daily changes in priorities as work demands

Desired Skills & Experience

• Associate’s degree or its equivalent is preferred
• Insurance experience preferred
• Proficient in keyboarding and data entry
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Possesses outstanding organizational skills
