What You’ll Do:

  • As a Life Sales Development Consultant, you will work with our Agents, Agency Managers and Regional Financial Consultants in the field to help drive sales growth across our 15-state footprint.
  • You will manage and monitor yearly sales projects and drive results through the development and implementation of those projects.
  • You will also assist the Life Sales VP with development including selection, training, performance reviews and other supervisory duties of the 18 Regional Financial Consultants. This will include the development of training, presentations and project materials for corporate and field meetings.


What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • College degree or equivalent plus eight years relevant experience required.
  • Must have excellent technical knowledge in life sales, and a solid understanding of different sales strategies.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to work well with the field force, state management and home office personnel.
  • Travel (up to 40%) is required (including overnight) across our 15-state territory (AZ, CO, IA, ID, KS, MN, MT, ND, NE, NM, OK, SD, UT, WI, WY).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record according to Fleet Safety guidelines.
  • Self-starter with excellent organization, problem solving, supervisory and administrative skills.
  • Work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
