Position Overview:
Stillwater Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Project Manager in their Omaha, NE office.
The primary responsibility of this position will be to act as liaison between business units and IT Programming staff in support of all technological platforms in use at the company.
This includes developing business requirements, identifying application shortcomings and testing new system enhancements and fixes.
We’re looking for candidates who may have:
Develop project plans using the JIRA ticketing system.
Monitor status of key projects.
Communicate outside partners involved with key projects.
Review and recommend action to be taken on contracts with outside partners.
Review and recommend process improvements that will improve effectiveness and efficiency of business units.
Develop ad-hoc reports to support business needs.
Recommend process improvements to ensure proper system utilization and performance.
Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) or equivalent, or four to ten years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient on project management spreadsheet and word processing software.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work with all levels of management.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Acute attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects. Proven leadership and business acumen skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization.
