Account Manager, Automobile Claims TPA
Function: Insurance Operations
Columbus, Ohio

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day, face-to-face interaction with one of our Automobile TPA clients.

The candidate we are seeking must possess strong industry knowledge coupled with business knowledge to support our TPA operation and enable our Client to achieve their TPA program performance goals by facilitating

The position is involved in developing and implementing on-going strategies, enhancing processes, materials, and communication tools. This position works closely in meeting client performance and quality standards. This successful candidate is on the ground floor of a growing business unit within the Genpact Insurance Claim vertical. Successful account management of our Client will lay the groundwork for future growth of the unit and their career.

 

Responsibilities

  • Experience managing programs as the liaison between the Client’s leadership team and TPA Leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivated with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to facilitate and lead conversations between Genpact’s leadership team and adjuster’s and the Client’s leadership team to ensure we meet both our Client’s requirements but exceed their expectations.
  • Has the ability to recognize a concern at onset with the Client and work to diffuse and/or rectify the concern quickly, accurately, and diplomatically.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills and must present themselves in a professional manner on a day to day basis for our Client
  • Understand and apply general policy conditions and coverage application at expert level
  • Knowledge and experience in evaluating property damage and/or bodily injury claims. Good knowledge of venues and their regulatory and case laws to ensure Best Claim Practice compliance.
  • Strong data analytics knowledge/understanding: how to build reports, leverage data to identify performance indicators under strict deadlines

 

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Maintain adjuster license(s) as required by state regulations
  • At least 5-7 years of experience adjudicating auto liability claims
  • Ability to operate in start-up setting where requirements (strategy and tactics) have a tendency to change as business develops
  • Someone who has fire in the belly and willing to put in the work as needed in partnership with the Client’s and Genpact’s leadership team
  • Communication and diplomacy skills are critical

 

Preferred qualifications

  • College Diploma or commensurate work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of previous auto claim experience with multi-state experience
  • TPA Account Management experience and/or Casualty Claim Vendor
  • Management experience
  • Willing to relocate
