Donegal Insurance Group has an opening for a Underwriting Assistant to join our Marietta, Pennsylvania office.

About the role:

The Underwriting Assistant will effectively assist the Commercial Lines Underwriting team to achieve profitable underwriting results. The ideal candidate will be able to assist in maintaining superior customer relationships thereby meeting established production goals. Additional duties include:

• Accurately process business, utilizing established guidelines and direction from the underwriting team
• Accurately research underwriting information
• Efficiently determine and request the appropriate underwriting support documentation needed for each accoun
• Pro-actively coordinate work with others in support of department objectives
• Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Position Requirements:

• Previous insurance or related work experience
• High school or GED equivalent
