The primary responsibility of the Junior Client Account Manager is to transition into a Client Account Manager role within two (2) years.  Under the guidance of the commercial department, the Junior Client Account Manager will assist the team with routine tasks such as data entry/processing, preparing invoices, processing endorsements, maintaining various department spreadsheets, and corresponding with clients and insurance companies. With an assigned select amount of accounts, the Junior Client Account Manager will learn all aspects of managing their own clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small book of assigned accounts
  • Attend any required training sessions and courses to maintain skills and licensing requirements
  • Process certificates of insurance for the team
  • Scan and attach all mail/correspondence in AMS for the team that were not processed by the operations team
  • Respond to client emails and phone calls as assigned and if licensed
  • Copy and assemble proposals
  • Address policy change requests by processing endorsements
  • Check policies ensure each policy is delivered to the client within 30 days of receipt
  • Review and verify renewals and issue invoices
  • Increase revenue by crossing selling and writing new business
  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned



Required Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) with six (6) months of office experience, or high school graduate with a minimum of one (1) year of office environment experience; other combination of work and/or education will be considered
  • Basic understanding of insurance and business terminology
  • Fluent with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel
  • AMS360 experience or skills to learn software program at an accelerated ability
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Current Property and Casualty License for all states or ability to obtain within the first six (6) months
  • Ability to enroll in CISR/CIC Designation Program when required by Team Leader.
