NARS is a privately owned, rapidly growing third party claims administrator. Although we have offices nationwide, NARS maintains a close-knit family feel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of basic principles or systems analysis and design
  • Assist both internal and external customers on open issues, follow issues to completion
  • Manage and maintain phone system, review and assess system to ensure we have top of the line VOIP
  • Tracking software license and assigning when necessary
  • Applying operating system updates and configuration changes
  • Add, remove or update user account information, reset passwords, etc.
  • Monitor batch jobs to ensure they process daily
  • Effectively meet deadlines, properly utilizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Responsible for basic phone support, adding new users, troubleshooting issues with the vendor
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to correctly install and maintain computer hardware and software
  • Ability to detect, analyze and resolve computer software and network problems
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other technical staff, vendors and users
  • Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions
  • Ability to identify and monitor potential operational malfunctions
  • Ability to solve hardware and software problems in a logical manner
  • Knowledge of hardware and software installation, testing, and operation
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and fundamentals
  • Knowledge of basic principles or systems analysis and design
  • Knowledge of telecommunication fundamentals
