Underwriting Manager - Commercial Lines

The Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager will be responsible for the leading and maximizing portfolio growth, increasing profitability, and meeting/exceeding customer expectations. In this role you will oversee the business and lead and develop a team of professional team of commercial lines underwriters and support staff engaged in evaluating policyholder risk for moderate to complex cases. You will be representing a well-respected insurance carrier with strong reserves, a history of treating customers the right way, and an appetite for top line growth mixed with bottom line results and profitability.

Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager Requirements

• 5-7 years of progressive commercial lines Property and Casualty underwriting experience.
• Experience working with religious institutions and non-profits a plus.
• Previous management or supervisory experience a must.

Professional designations such as CPCU a plus.
