Director of Operations - Healthcare Education

General Placement Service has been engaged in an exclusive search for a Director of Operations - Healthcare Education.  Our client is a multi-state provider of insurance products and services to the healthcare space.  This includes doctor's offices, specialty clinics, and hospital systems, as well as, many other providers of healthcare services. 

This position will direct the operations of our clients risk management and patient safety educational program.  This facility is staffed by MD's, JD's, and Nurses who are trained and educated, not only in healthcare, but also on loss control and safety processes for healthcare providers.  The Director of Operations will manage everything from budgets and forecasts to IT and content creation for the program while reporting to the companies Chief Medical Officer. 

The Director of Operations will work hand in hand with the company executive team, specifically the claims unit to help identify triggers in the market that are driving claims frequency and costs.  The expectation is that the educational program will provide resources to assist their insureds in lowering costs and claims frequency.  This position must be able to set benchmarks and create methods for quantifying the successes of the educational program. 

To be qualified for this position a candidate must have at minimum 10 years of operations experience preferably within the healthcare field.  Clinical experience is highly preferred where the Director candidate has managed multiple projects from inception to completion across the full spectrum of an operations manager's duties and responsibilities.
