This position is designed for an experienced account executive/clinical liaison that is licensed (RN preferred) with experience selling products and healthcare services. The ideal candidate would have experience specific to the worker’s compensation industry. You will represent Shepherd Center in high level negotiations and contracting with senior claims management and medical management at the nation’s largest insurance companies, benefits consultants, employers and case management firms.
Position requirements include a keen understanding of the worker’s compensation industry, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries, with previous experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred. Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health or other disciplines desirable. Selected individual must have superior presentation and communication skills, as well as proficiency in using Salesforce as an account management and tracking tool. Moderate travel (up to 40%) will be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Keep in close contact with key account reps at worker's compensation carriers in terms of current cases and prospecting for new ones; share outcomes, successes, and be transparent on opportunities.
• Stay connected with care teams to track patient progress; with patient agreement, share audio/video with workman’s compensation patient progress.
• Work with employers of all sizes with coordination from VP to be a preferred provider of care.
• Educate stakeholders on all services --inpatient and outpatient.
• Call on C level or VPs at appropriate referral sources.
