Commercial Account Manager

Our client is a growing insurance agency in the Denver area looking to add a dedicated and passionate Commercial Account Manager to join their team.

Qualified candidate must have a proven track record for managing an existing book of business. Preferably someone who has worked in the Colorado market for at least two years, has experience with the AMS/Applied/TAM/EPIC agency management systems, works well within a team environment, is a self-starter and computer proficient.

Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Work professionally with customers via phone, e-mail, and fax regarding their account(s)
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service to address customers’ needs
  • Facilitate the rewrite/renewal of commercial insurance accounts, including obtaining quotes and issuing proposals
  • Process endorsements, audits, ID cards, certificates of insurance, etc.
  • Invoice agency bill items and following up with customers for premiums due
  • Maintain adequate book of business retention
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance carriers
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Account Manager Job Requirements:

  • Active Colorado Property &Casualty license
  • Minimum two years of insurance experience in the Colorado market
  • Experience with AMS360 and/or Applied(TAM) or EPIC
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to procedural changes/updates
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft programs
  • Personal time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with a team in an ever-evolving industry.

Preferences: Prefer some college level courses
