Amerisure is currently recruiting for a Treasury Analyst to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI.

Position Summary:

The position will be responsible for analyzing and maintaining all cash flow and banking functions for the company.  This position will have a focus on time and cost efficiency with our banking partners.  In addition, the Analyst will support all aspects of the Treasury function including, but not limited to, reconciliations, journal processing, and process improvements.  The position will also support other FP&A and Treasury functions which includes special projects and ad-hoc analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain banking relationships with selected banking partners.  Responsible for preparing communication and required signatures on all banking changes.
  • Handle all cash management functions including, but not limited to, bank fee analysis, cash forecasting, evaluation of banking products/services, maintenance of accounts and cash balances, and contribute to the overall cash management strategy through insightful analysis.
  • Journal entry creation for GL accounts assigned.
  • Monthly reconciliations for GL accounts assigned requiring research and balancing preparation.
  • Communicate with management on Treasury inquiries or necessary updates and recommendations to gain efficiencies or cost savings.
  • Participate in process improvement and other functions within FP&A and Treasury.
  • Assist with special projects or requests to provide analysis and support to corporate teams.


Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Treasury experience preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
