QuestPro Consultants is partnered with an esteemed P&C firm that is seeking a Claims Manager with experience handling architectural and engineering claims. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining claim files with a level of complexity that warrants enhanced skill or expertise. Ensure that claims are analyzed for coverage, documentation and are adjusted and paid properly within company guidelines. Evaluate coverage and liability. Analyze claim loss and expense exposure and ensure that all assigned claims are properly and timely reserved. Develop and pursue actions that are designed to protect the insured/principal and achieve optimum claim output. The selected candidate will also be expected to lead in special projects and other duties as needed.

Required Skills

•Ability to use analytical methods in the claim examining processes to find workable solutions

.•Ability to generate innovative solutions within the claims department.

•Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to internal contacts on claim matters.

•Ability to use software to summarize and analyze large amounts of data.

Required Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field (J.D. preferred), plus experience defending architects or engineers or handling architects and engineers' claims.
