Gulfstream Property and Casualty Insurance is hiring a full time ETL Developer.  We are a growing homeowners insurance carrier.  We offer excellent compensation, benefits, and friendly team members.  Our office is located on University Parkway in the Lakewood Ranch corporate park. This ideal location is just minutes from the community of Lakewood Ranch and the restaurants and shops of Lakewood Ranch's Main Street and University Town Center.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and managing ETL processes that load data from various sources into enterprise databases.
  • Design, development, testing, execution and quality assurance of both automated and manual data integration and exchange processes.
  • Design, development and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions using SQL Server 2016 (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL, SSIS and PDI
  • Create and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Evaluate existing systems and help define the ETL processes for transforming data from heterogeneous source systems to a data warehouse
  • Maintain technical documentation for Business Intelligence processes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced use of SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL and Tableau
  • Knowledge of data quality, data profiling and data cleansing techniques
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related area (not required, preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience:
    • Developing reporting and analytics solutions with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher version.
    • Using T-SQL to build stored procedures, views, functions.
    • Developing ETL processes with SSIS in a data warehouse environment.
    • Building reports with SSRS.
