Sr. Architects & Engineers Underwriting Specialist - New Jersey
Growing and entrepreneurial Property & Casualty Insurance carrier is seeking a Sr. A&E Underwriting Specialist for their New Jersey operation. This is an excellent career growth opportunity for a Sr. Underwriter who wants more autonomy and to build a strong A&E program. You will work on A&E accounts with revenues up to $100M and on a nationwide basis. The goal will be to prepare you to be a Product Head.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 10 years industry experience. Minimum 6 years within the A&E product line
- Significant experience with both admitted and E&S products within the A&E Professional underwriting arena.
- Significant contacts/relationships with brokers/agents within the A&E market.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to relate well to customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Travel as needed to visit brokers
