Growing insurance agency has an opening for an Accounting Associate in their Sarasota, FL office. This person will be in charge of the general accounting functions for the Sarasota office including; General Ledger, AP/AR, commissions, bank deposits, deductible billing etc. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of general accounting experience. Prefers insurance accounting experience within an agency, carrier or TPA but not required. Experience with EPIC is also a bonus. This is a newly created position to centralize the daily accounting functions for the Sarasota office.  Currently, the accounting is done between multiple locations, and due to their growth, they need to bring this position in house. This is a great opportunity to help define the role and assist with developing accounting processes for this office.
