Data Analyst

Job Responsibilities to Include:

• Model data and create reports using MS Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau and/or other data warehouse analytical tools
• Interpret data, determine trends and come to new conclusions based on the findings
• Conduct research and integrate findings into databases and reporting
• Integrate data from multiple data sets into relevant client reports
• Understand data sources, processes, formulas and output
• Work collaboratively with our data vendors to ensure reporting that is accurate, timely and of high quality
• Recommend, policies, procedures and/or controls that make the overall process more efficient and effective

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred. Major in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Insurance, or Economics and/or equivalent education or work experience
• 3-5 yrs experience as a Data Anaylst
• Insurance Background STRONGLY preferred
• Solid understanding of querying data using relational databases
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience using SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, and Tableau
• Ability to understand data integrity and correctness
• Statistical reporting and analysis experience in a large-scale delivery environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively present information to Associates at all levels of the Lockton organization
• Strong proactive style.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Previous experience working with claims data 
• Legally able to work in the United States
