Senior Bond Underwriter

General Placement Service has been tasked with recruiting a senior level underwriter for a strong, growing surety writer for their northeast regional office in Philadelphia.

This position will manage an agency plant throughout the Northeast from Maryland to Maine for all ranges of surety bonds in what would be traditionally considered the non-standard market.  My client is well known in their niche and has excellent leadership in house.  There is an excellent opportunity to expand your standard experience or to use your already stellar reputation in the non-standard market to grow an extremely profitable book of business that will make you a leader in the industry.

To be qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years contract surety underwriting experience, relationships with northeast or mid-atlantic brokers, and they prefer at least some non-standard underwriting experience.  A degree and designations are preferred but not required.
